Description of key information
Whatever the heat source, hot flame from gas burner and hot platinum wire, no flame
appears along the solid sample and no flame propagation occurs.
No flame propagation and inflammation are noticed within the 4 minutes test periods.

Additional information
When the extremity of the sample is warmed with the incandescent platinum wire, or flame burner, there is the melting of the test sample. No flame is observed.
There is no flame propagation to the rest of the sample.
Justification for classification or non-classification
No flame propagation and inflammation are noticed within the 4 minutes test periods.
The test indicates that Fatty acids, C16-18, compds. with C16-18-alkyl amines is not flammable.
