Additional information

HDI Uretdion hydrolyses rapidly at environmental relevant pHs and temperatures. At all pH-values the half-time (t1/2) is below one day at ambient conditions (25°C) (Bayer Industry Services, 2005). The half life of HDI Uretdion in an acetonitrile/water solution is approx. 6.1 hours at 23 °C.

In the atmosphere the main component HDI Uretdion will be degraded due to indirect photolysis within a few hours. Based on the low adsorption potential in UV-B range, no significant direct photodegradation is expected.
