Additional information

Justification for selection of skin irritation / corrosion endpoint:
guideline study sufficiently documented

Effects on skin irritation/corrosion: moderately irritating

Effects on eye irritation: highly irritating

Justification for classification or non-classification

Accoring to the test result in a guideline study 2-Chloro-4,6-Dimethoxy-1,3,5-Triazine is moderate irritant to the skin.

In the dermal irritation study although there were mostly just moderate irritation one severe irritation occured. Hence the likelyhood of serious eye damage is very high and regarding welfare of the animals the study should not be performed. nevertheless the classification should be "Causes serious eye damage"
