method B6 in Annex V of EEC Directive 84/449/EEC. GLP study, reliable without restrictions (score 1).
Species: Albino Dunkin-Hartley guinea pig
Forty guinea pigs were used for the main study, twenty test and twenty control animals.
Concentration main study:
Intradermal Induction: 1% (w/v) in distilled water
Topical Induction : 5% (w/v) in distilled water
Topical Challenge : 2% (w/v) in distilled water
Incidence of sensitisation responses in test animals 8/18, 44% sensitisation response, moderate sensitiser
