First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Irrigate promptly with plenty of water or saline solution
and seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. If irritation occurs seek medical
attention .
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Recommended extinguishing agents: Carbon dioxide, dry
powder or foam are suitable.

Product arising from burning: Products arising from pyrolysis: Products of combustion may
contain oxides and soot.

Protective equipment: Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus
and full body protective clothing should be worn by
fire-fighters.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Dyke spill using sand and absorb with a suitable inert
material. Transfer to labelled waste containers for
disposal. Do not allow the substance to enter water
courses.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear goggles and rubber gloves when handling the substance.
Ensure adequate ventilation when handling heated product.

Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry place. The substance will be
stored in 200 litre non-returnable steel drums.
