Additional information

The test substance, TOFA_DimerFA_TETA PAA was determined to be a yellow-red, transparent, viscous liquid with a relative density of 0.9691 and an auto-ignition temperature of 401C. The test substance is not expected to be explosive or oxidising.

Due to the complex UVCB nature of the substance, it is difficult to determine the vapour pressure, partition coefficient and water solubility of the test substance. In order to provide sufficient information to perform the risk assessment, these numbers were therefore calculated using EPISuite. The vapour pressure was determined to be 1.7 x 10-17Pa and the log partition coefficient was estimated to be 10.34 at 25C. The water solubility was estimated slightly differently by taking into account the critical micelle concentration for a related substance as well. The water solubility was therefore estimated to be 40 mg/L.
