Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: see 'Remark'
Remarks:
Method not in accordance with guideline standards but data are comprehensible and scientifically acceptable. Standard test organism was used. Glass house experiment. Since four harvests were considered, results of this study are appropiate for assessing the chronic toxicity of copper to plants.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The author grew perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne) in a loam soil amended with copper at concentrations of 9.5, 95.3 and 953 mg/kg (dry weight).
Significant reductions in dry weight of shoots and roots over 4 harvests were observed only at the highest concentration.
