Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
Skin Contact: In case of contact, immediately wash skin with plenty of water and soap and rinse thoroughly. Consult a physician.
Eye Contact: Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for several minutes until product is all gone ( in particular on and under the eyelids). Consult eye doctor immediately.
Ingestion: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a physician immediately. In case of vomiting, maintain the head lower than the hips to avoid ingestion.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media: Suitable: Non combustible. Use extinguishing media appropriate to surrounding fire conditions
Firefighting: Protective equipment: wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing toxic fumes.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves. Evacuate unnecessary personnel.
Environmental precautions: Avoid drainage to sewer. Avoid contamination of soils as well as surface and underground waters.
Clean up methods: Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal. Avoid raising dust. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.
Handling and storage
Handling: User exposure: Avoid formation of dust. Do not breath dust. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Personnel should wear protective clothing. No eating or drinking while handling the product.
Storage: Keep containers tightly closed. Store in a cool dry place.
