Description of key information

The melting point of triethyl citrate was determined in a non-GLP study (2011) according to EPA OPPTS 830.7200 (1996), OECD-Guideline No. 102 (1995) and Method A.1 (EC 440/2008). Using the Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) method at 2°C/min, the melting point was determined to be < – 40 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-40 °C
