First-aid measures

IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Special exposure hazards in a fire: Not combustible.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Fire fighters must wear fire resistant personnel protective equipment. Wear chemical resistant oversuit

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Sweep up to prevent slipping hazard. Avoid dust formation. Refer to protective measures listed under "handling and storage".
Methods for cleaning up: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Avoid dust formation. Keep in properly labelled containers. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal considerations".

Handling and storage

Handling: Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Wash hands with water thoroughly after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do no eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

Storage: Store in closed containers. Dispose of contents/container to a waste disposal facility.

Disposal considerations

Waste from residues / unused products:
In accordance with local and national regulations. Dilute with plenty of water. Neutralise with acid. Use a solution of sodium or magnesium sulphate or possibly a dilute solution of sulphuric acid to form a sulphate precipitate. Dispose of wastes in an approved waste disposal facility.
Packaging treatment: Containers that cannot be cleaned must be treated as waste.
