Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration at a suitable site is possible. Waste gas
treatment to remove nitrogen and sulphur oxides and hydrogen
chloride gas should be used.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance is not biodegradable and should not normally
be discharged in this manner. However, the effect to the
aquatic environment can be minimised by: 1) Ultrafiltration
using a Deval G20 type membrane 2) Floculation with 0.5 g/l
cationic co-polymer 3) Oxidation with ozone at pH 11
