First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately for at least 15 minutes. Symptomatic

treatment.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with plenty of water for at least 15

minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide or dry chemical should be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,

nitrogen and sulfur together with hydrogen chloride gas.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Sweep up spill avoiding dust formation.

Transfer to labelled containers and dispose of in accordance

with local regulations. Wash spill site to remove residue.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation and contact

with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing,

impervious gloves and safety goggles. A dust respirator of

type NIOSH 21C should be worn.

Storage: Store in a tightly closed contains in a cool, dry place away

from string oxidising agents.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is incorporated in a cartridge and packaged

into polyethylene bags into a cardboard box.
