Description of key information

No studies are available for toxicity to sediment-dwelling organisms. Using the PNECsediment derived from the available aquatic toxicity data via the equilibrium partitioning method the RCR for all stages of the lifecycle of the substance were found to be <1 indicating that the risk to sediment dwelling organisms is adequately controlled and testing is not required to refine the assessment.

Additional information

No studies are available for toxicity to sediment-dwelling organisms and hence the PNECsediment was derived from the available aquatic toxicity data using the equilibrium partitioning method. Using this PNEC, the RCR for all stages of the lifecycle of the substance were found to be <1, indicating that the risk to sediment dwelling organisms is adequately controlled and there is no need for further refinement of the assessment through testing.
