Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Data on physical properties were obtained from a number of proprietary sources. The data in these sources are based on a critical evaluation of the data and the selected values are considered to be reliable and representative of the property under investigation. Information in the review process was documented in the introduction of the source. The use of Klimisch codes (Klimisch et al., 1997) was extended to these sources and a reliability code was assigned.

Review of the collated information indicates that streams are liquid at room temperature with a flash point range of -30 to 55 °C at an assumed pressure of 101.3 kPa and a boiling point range of -6 to 340°C.

The vapour pressure range for this Category was 500 - 24669 Pa at 20 °C, 210 -30270 Pa at 25 °C and 2420 - 55000 Pa at 37.8 °C.

The flash point and boiling point results for this Category indicate that this Category would be classified for physical hazards. Based on the information provided, the streams in this category would meet the classification for Flammability Category 1, or Flammability Category 2, or Flammability Category 3 dependent on their measured boiling point and flash point.
