Additional information

For complex substances such as petroleum products, pour point may be characterised by a range of temperatures reflecting the pour points of the individual components. Foots oils have pour point values ranging from -60°C to 49°C. A pour point range of 10°C to 49°C was reported by CONCAWE (2010a) while supporting read across data from other lubricant base oils (materials similar to foots oils) indicate a pour point range of -60°C to -6°C (CONCAWE, 1997).
