Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Go outside to breathe fresh air. Seek medical attention if
respiratory symptoms occur.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse the eye immediately with plenty of water for at least
15 minutes with the eyelid held wide open. Seek medical
attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes and wash contaminated skin
thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out mouth thoroughly with water and give plenty of
water to drink. Seek medical attention if symptoms persists.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Waterspray, CO2 or dry powder

Product arising from burning: Test substance is not classified as highly flammable.

In case of burning/pyrolysis possible products could be CO;
CO2 and NOx.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Do not stay in dangerous zone without self-contained
breathing apparatus. In order to avoid contact with skin,
keep a safety distance and wear suitable protective clothing

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use proper protective
gloves (PVC or NBR). If necessary, use respiratory
protection. There must be easy access to plentiful water
supply, emergency- or hand shower/eye rinsing bottle.

Absorb by means of absorbing material (e.g. sand or
vermiculite) and sent to proper destruction facilities.

Chemical waste class: Z

Handling and storage

Handling: Good manufacturing practice and good industrial hygiene
standard shall be maintained.

Work must be done with effective mechanical ventilation
(e.g. local extractor fan). In case of insufficient
ventilation, wear respiratory equipment with filter (PS).

Use proper protection gloves (PVC or NBR)

Storage: PC2001 must be kept in tightly closed containers in a well
ventilated place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: PC2001 may be packed in closely sealed high-density
polyethylene (HDPE) containers and should be keept at room
temperature, protected from moisture and light.
