Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No effects were observed and thus the 96h-LC50 was considered to exceed the maximum solubility of the test substance in medium.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity to Medaka was examined under static conditions in a test that was carried out according to OECD 203 and GLP.

The test was carried out at a limit test with a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. The test substance and dilution water were mixed and they were stirred by magnetic stirrer for about 48h at 20°C. At the start and the end of the test, samples were taken from the middle of the vessel and analysed by HPLC-UV.

At the start of the exposure, the test medium was yellow and suspended and floating substance were observed. The appearance of the test solution remained unchanged until the end of the exposure.

The measured concentration was 0.032 mg/L at the start and 0.018 mg/L at the end of the test. The geometric mean measured concentration was 0.024 mg/L.

No effects were observed and thus the 96h-LC50 was considered to exceed the maximum solubility of the test substance in medium.

The validity criteria were fulfilled.

The study is considered reliable without restriction
