Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

The following data are considered for the evaluation of the classification of the substance for aquatic toxicity.

Short term toxicity

Fish: LC50 (96 h) > 1000 mg/l

Aquatic invertebrates: EC50 (48h) > 100 mg/l

Algae: ErC50 (72h) > 123 mg/l (nominal); NOEC (72h, growth rate) = 30.8 mg/l (nominal)

Long-term toxicity

Fish: NOEC (fry length, fry weight) = 4.41 mg/l (TWA, mean measured)

Aquatic invertebrates:NOEC (21d, overall threshold effects) = 1.10 mg/l

The substance is determined to be not rapidly degradable and not bioaccumulative considering its LogPow. No acute aquatic toxicity was observed. Valid chronic toxicity data are available for Daphnia and fish where the NOEC determined is > 1 mg/l. Therefore the substance is not classified for the environment according to the Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP).
