Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII Nr 9.2.2.1, the study does not need to be conducted as the substance is readily biodegradable and highly insoluble in water (see Sect. 4.8).
At neutral conditions, half-life of diisotridecyl adipate was estimated to be 4.6 years
At pH 8 the half-life was estimated to be 169 days at 25°C

Additional information

The total basic (pH 8) hydrolysis rate constant for diisotridecyl adipate at 25°C was calculated to 0.04737 L/(mol*s) using the program HYDROWIN v 2.00 of US EPA EPI Suite v4.00. The half-life was estimated to be 169 days (24 weeks).

 

At neutral condition (pH 7) the half-life was estimated to be 4.6 years.
