Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A GLP study according to OECD guideline 221 was conducted with Lemna as test organism. In this study, Lemna gibba (3 replicates consisting of 3 plants with 4 fronds each) were exposed to nominal loading rates of 1.2, 3.7, 11.1, 33.3 and 100 mg test item/L and a blank control for 7 days. Based on frond numbers as well as on dry weight, the 7-d ErC50 and also the 7-d ErC10 were determined to be > 100 mg test item/L (see IUCLID chapter 6.1.5; BASF SE, 2015).
