For the determination of the degradability of Tetradecylamine in water, one data is reported from (Q)SAR predictions based on three scientifically valid models: EPISuite/BIOWIN, Toxtree/START Biodegradability and VEGA/Ready Biodegradability. Those models fulfil the characterisation criteria specified in the OECD Guidance Document on the validation of (Q)SAR models.

Tetradecylamine is predicted to be readily biodegradable; this prediction is considered reliable with restrictions (Klimisch 2) and is used as key value for the assessment.
