Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is a light red organic powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.

The Differential Scanning Calorimetric analysis showed release of water/solvent between 25 -110 °C, followed by endothermic reaction between 126 -181 °C (onset 143.3 °C, enthalpy = -28.9 J/g). Between 207 - 244 °C (onset at 211 °C; enthalpy = 103.8 J/g) the substance decomposed.

The relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer and recorded at 1.472 at 20 °C.

The particle size distribution of the test article was analysed using the Mastersizer 2000 tool and the MMD resulted was 26.125 µm.

The substance is very water soluble (34.30 g/l at 20 °C ) and Kow value was determined to be 0.05008 (average log Pow: -1.3007), showing a greater affinity with the water phase, than the octanol one.

On the basis of the physicochemical properties, vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

The substance is not expected to be auto-flammable, flammable and explosive and it is deemed to be potentially not oxidising based on the chemical structure.
