First-aid measures

General advice: Consult a physician.

If inhaled, move person into fresh air; give artificial respiration in case of not breathing. In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and plenty of water. Eye contact: rinse soroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If swollowed, do not induce vomitting; rinse mouth with water.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Water-spray, alcohol-resistante foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment; avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas; ensure adequate ventilation; remove all source of ignition; evacuate personnel to safe areas; beware of vapours accumulating to form explosive concentrations; vapours can accumukate in low areas.

Environment: revent further öeakage or spillage if safe to do so; do not let product enter drains.

Cleaning up: Wipe up with absorbent material (e.g. cloth, fleece).

Handling and storage

avoid inhalation of vapour or mist; avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use; keep away from sources of ignition - no smoking; take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge.

Store in a cool place; keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.; contents under pressure; light sensitive.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection: Where risk assessment shoes air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face respirator with multi-purpose combination (US) or type AXBEK (EN 14387) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls.

hand protection: The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it; handle with gove.

Eye, skin and body protection: Face shield, safety glasses, body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place.

Hygienic measures: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing; wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling of the substance.

Stability and reactivity

Stable under recommended conditions; avoid heat, flames and sparks; avoid chemically active metals and copper; under fire conditions hazardous decomposition product are formed: Carbon dioxide, Hydrogen chloride gas; contains stabilisers like Hydroquinone or Phenol.

Disposal considerations

Product: Burn in a chemical incinerator equpped with an afterburner and scrubber but exert extra care in igniting as this material is highly flammable; observe all environmental regulations; contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material.

Contaminated packaging: Dispose as unused product.
