Palladium metal is poorly soluble and transformation / dissolution (TD) test results have shown low release of Pd ions, below the acute and chronic environmental reference values (ERV) determined for soluble palladium substances. Palladium metal is therefore not classified for the environment based on
comparison of the TD results with the ERV values and testing has not been conducted with palladium metal itself.
