Additional information

The substance was tested according to the OECD111 and the Commission Directive 84/449/EEC C.10.

The substance is stable at pH 4, 7 and 9 at 50 °C.

Furthermore a test as a prove for the stability of the substance in gastric juice (HCl) was done, in HPLC.

Determination of free cobalt ions, before hydrolysis (pH 1,2): 0.97 % of test substance, corresponding to 14.9 % of total cobalt content;

after hydrolysis (pH 1,0) 1.30 % of test substance, corresponding to 20.0 % of total cobalt content.

The HPLC chromatograms before and after hydrolysis are equivalent.
