Description of key information

The earthworm species Eisenia fetida was exposed to the test substance for a period of 14 days according to EU method C.8 (Directive 88/302 EEC) in a study conducted by Hüls AG (1993). Five concentrations ranging from 100 to 1000 mg test substance / kg soil with 40 organisms per treatment level were tested. The animals were observed for mortality at das 0, 7 and 14 after application. The LC50 was graphically determined as 670 mg/kg soil [dw].
