Description of key information

In an OECD 421 study conducted with the read-across source substance N,N''-(methylenedi-4,1-phenylene)bis[N'-octylurea], it was concluded that based on the absence of any substance related adverse effect in the reproduction/developmental toxicity screening test, the NOAEL values for parental, reproduction toxicity and developmental toxicity are at least 1000 mg/kg bw/day, the highest concentration tested.

Effect on fertility: via oral route
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed
Dose descriptor:

Effect on fertility: via inhalation route
Endpoint conclusion:

Effect on fertility: via dermal route
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test item is not classified as no adverse reproductive or developmental toxicity effects were observed in the study conducted with the structural analogue substance. Additionally, the test item does not have a harmonised classification for toxicity to reproduction.
