Conclusions:
The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the substance is less than 17.8, log10Koc less than 1.25. These values indicate that the test item will have a very high mobility in the environment.
Executive summary:

The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of SPE1415 was determined according to OECD Guideline for the Testing of Chemicals No. 121 “Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) on Soil and on Sewage Sludge using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)”, adopted 22 January 2001. The test method was designed to be compatible with Method C19 “Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) on Soil and on Sewage Sludge using high Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)”

The Kocwas estimated to be <1.25 (highest standard) and the adsorption coefficient was <17.78. These values demonstrate that SPE1415 will have a very high mobility in the environment.

Reference substances (and respective log Kocvalues) were: Acetanilide (1.25), Phenol (1.32), Atrazine (1.81), Isoproturon (1.86), Aniline (2.07), Triadimenol (2.40), Linuron (2.59), Naphthalene (2.75), Endosulfan-Diol (3.02), Fenthion (3.31),a-Endosulfan (4.09), Diclofop-Methyl (4.20), Penanthrene (4.09) and DDT (5.63).

The calibration showed a correlation of 0.903.

Description of key information

A reliable (Klimisch 1) study is available for the test item. The study was conducted according to GLP and following internationally accepted test guidelines.

The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the substance is less than 17.8, log10Koc less than 1.25. These values indicate that the test item will have a very high mobility in the environment
