First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
General advice:
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. First aider needs to protect himself.
Place affected clothing in a sealed bag for subsequent decontamination.
In case of inhalation:
Remove to fresh air.
Keep at rest.
Consult a physician if necessary.
In case of skin contact:
Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. In case of skin contact
Wash off with soap and plenty of water.
Wash immediately and thoroughly for a prolonged period (at least 15 minutes). Call a physician if irritation develops or persists.
In case of eye contact:
Rinse with running water whilst keeping the eyes wide open (at least 15 minutes) If eye irritation persists, consult a physician
In case of ingestion:
Do NOT induce vomiting.
Rinse mouth with water.
Consult a physician if necessary.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
no data available
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
no data available
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media:
Preferably use:
Foam powder
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
None known.
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
on heating
Highly irritating vapours are released.
Advice for firefighters:
Special protective equipment for firefighters
For further information refer to section 8 "Exposure controls/personal protection". Self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 133)
Full protective suit
Specific fire fighting methods:
Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Cool containers/tanks with water spray. Wear suitable protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Do not breathe dust.
Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes. Use personal protective equipment.
Safety glasses
PVC or other plastic material gloves Respirator with a particle filter (EN 143)
Remove all incompatible materials as quickly as possible
Environmental precautions:
Prevent product from entering sewage system. Contain the spilled material by bunding.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up:
Recovery:
Collect spillage.
Sweep up and shovel.
Avoid dust formation.
Keep in properly labelled containers.
Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Decontamination/cleaning:
Wash off with plenty of water.
Recover the cleaning water for subsequent disposal.
Disposal:
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Reference to other sections:
no data available
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Provide adequate ventilation.
Dust extraction (suction).
Avoid dust formation.
Use only in well-ventilated areas.
Do not mix with incompatible materials (See list section 10). Keep away from flames and hot surfaces.
Do NOT handle without gloves.
Reduce the duration of exposure to the minimum required.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Technical measures/Storage conditions:
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Keep in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Keep away from incompatible materials to be indicated by the manufacturer Do NOT heat the storage container.
Keep away from: Do not mix with incompatible materials.
Packaging material - Suitable material:
