Principles of method if other than guideline:
- Principle of test: Melting point is determined by the use of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in which the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature.
- Method:
 Fill a DSC pan with ± 1 to 5mg sample and record the sample weight
 Close the DSC sample pan with a pan cover using a pan press
 Place the sample pan into the sample position of the DSC
 Prepare an empty reference pan and place it into the reference position of the DSC
 Start the analysis

2: Equilibrate at 40.00°C
3: Isothermal for 5.00 min
