Description of key information

Experimental data on the potential of skin corrosion or irritation of TBBP are not available.

QSAR Toolbox has identified one structural alert for skin irritation. Substances with "Aliphatic alpha-halogen-esters" structural alert can cause irritation of the skin as proposed by Hulzebos et al.

In order to estimates skin irritatiion potential from physicochemical property ranges and structural rules, the software Toxtree (v.2.6.13) has been used and the substance has been predicted as a skin irritant.
