Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
The LC50 (96 h) was determined as >1.0 mg/L indicating that the test substance has no acute toxicity to fish up to the limit of the water solubility
Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of cyclododecane on Cyprinus carpio was investigated by Hüls AG (1997) in a 96 -h test according to EU method C.1. The concentration tested (limit test) was obtained by Water Accomodated Fraction. The test item concentration was analysed by means of TOC. The mean concentration was determined as 1.0 mg/L. The following endpoint was derived

LC50 (96 h): >1 mg/L

The study was assessed as "reliable without restrictions".
