Description of key information

D50 = 491.5 µm

<1 % <= 4 µm

Additional information

The particle size distribution of the test item was determined by laser diffraction measurement according to internationally accepted guidelines: ISO 13320, OECD TG 110 and EPA OCSPP 830.7520.

The particle size distribution of the test item was determined as follows:

D10 = 99.1 µm

D50, median particle size = 491.5 µm

D90 = 1012.3 µm.

Less than 1% in volume of the test item has a particle size <= 4 µm (respirable fraction (the mass fraction of particles that reaches the alveoli),CEN document, EN 481 ‘Workplace Atmospheres – size fraction definitions for measurement of airborne particles.
