Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VII, section 7.5, the vapour pressure study does not need to be conducted as the melting point is above 300 °C. Lithium phosphate has a melting point of 1205 °C, therefore a study is scientifically not necessary. Additionally, the vapour pressure of lithium phosphate was calculated by means of the program MPBPWIN (EPI Suite, v1.43). Vapour pressure of lithium phosphate was estimated to be 4.88E-022 Pa at 25 °C using the modified Grain method.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

As the available experimental methods allow a determination of vapour pressure down to 1E-5 Pa only, no meaningful experimental determination of the vapour pressure for lithium phosphate is possible. Therefore, in accordance with the respective EU guideline no experimental determination of the vapour pressure for lithium phosphate is required.
