Additional information

According to REACh regulation, Annex VII, 9.1.1 column 2 a study on short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates does not need to be conducted if a long-term aquatic toxicity study on invertebrates is available.

An EC50 based on adult mortality was estimated from the 21-day-chronic toxicity of Tetrahydrofurfuryl methacrylate (99.0% a.i.) to Daphnia magna according to OECD guideline 211 (adopted 2 October 2012). No biologically significant adult mortality was observed during the test period of 21 days up to and including the highest tested concentration. The estimated EC50 based on adult mortality is >97.3 mg/L (measured (geometric mean) concentration).
