Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Physico-chemical properties of registered substance were determined from experimental testing, except Vapour Pressure, Partition coefficient and Water solubility that were derived from QSAR data on constituents. Some endpoints were waived, based on chemical structure of known constituents or experience in handling and use of the substance.

The substance is clear yellow organic liquid at ambient temperature.

It is expected to float over water, because of its low relative density (0.9337). The substance contains constituents having different water solubilities (0.3158 -339 mg test item/L at 25°C).

The substance contains constituents with different volatilities (10.9 - 463 Pa).

The substance is classified as FLAMMABLE LIQUID, Category 3 based on Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP regulation).

Otherwise, no other hazard was identified with regard to physical properties (explosivity, oxidising properties, self-heating substance, self reactive substance and organic peroxides ) based on Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP regulation).
