Executive summary:

The Estimation Programs Interface Suite™ for Microsoft® Windows7 of the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Washington, DC, USA, was used to calculate the vapour pressure of TDI-Urone: 7.12E-007 Pa at 25 °C.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of TDI-Urone is negligible.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

In accordance with REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be conducted. Because of the inherent substance structure of TDI-Urone, it can be assumed that the vapour pressure of TDI-Urone can be neglected. This assumption is supported by the value given in the safety data sheet (SDS) from AlzChem Trostberg (2011) and QSAR results:

The vapour pressure as reported in the SDS is < 0.01 bar (< 1000 Pa) at 20 °C.
