Description of key information

The substance is a dark blue powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.

No melting of the substance is observed up to 450 °C; exothermic decomposition occurs below 500 °C with an energy release below 500 J/g.

The relative density, determined by means of a pycnometer, is between 1 and 2 at 20 °C.

The substance is soluble in water at 20 °C, and average log Pow is between -1.5 and 2 at 20 °C. Vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

The substance has no low autoignition temperature and it is not flammable.

No explosive properties are expected, based on the thermal profile recorded in a DSC analysis, and no oxidising potential is expected, based on the chemical structure.
