Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Remove the injured from the contaminated environment. If the symptoms persist, practice cardio respiratory reanimation or, if necessary, give oxygen and take the injured to the hospital.
CONTACT WITH THE SKIN
In case of skin contact, remove all contaminated clothing and shoes and wash the skin with copious amount of water and soap. Take the injured to the hospital.
CONTACT WITH THE EYES
In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with finger. Contact a doctor.
INGESTION
Do not induce vomiting. If the subject is conscious, give water to drink. If the subject is unconscious bring urgently the person injured to the hospital.
Fire-fighting measures
For small fires, use dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide or appropriate foams. For large fires, use water spray as far as possible from containers; it may be inefficacious.
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
The heat decomposition or ignition of the product may produce toxic fumes and cause intoxication. Hazardous decomposition and combustion products include: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, COx
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Cool down containers with water. Since toxic, corrosive or flammable vapours might be evolved from fires involving the product and associated packaging, self contained breathing apparatus a full protective equipment are recommended for fire fighters. (Full facial mask with “Universal” filter). If possible, contain and collect fire fighting water for later disposal.
Accidental release measures
Prevention of skin and eye contact and personal clothing: wear protective clothing, protective glasses, rubber boots and heavy-duty rubber gloves.
Provision for sufficient ventilation/respiratory protection: wear an independent respirator. Evacuate the area and aerate the zone contaminated by the spilt product after cleaning it away completely.
Control of dust: avoid forming clouds of dust/powder.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not allow the product to enter water or the soil. Prevent it from entering the drains or sewers. Use suitable containers for preventing environmental pollution. Inform competent authority in case of contamnination of water, soil, sewer or vegetation.
METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
Clean up spills or leak immediately. Wash the contaminated area with water then absorb with an inert material (vermiculite, dry sand, earth, etc) and place in a closed chemical waste container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Avoid contact and inhalation. Avoid prolonged exposure or repeated exposure. Prevent from fire according to general fire-fighting measures.
Wash yourself with care after each handling operation. Never eat, drink or smoke during handling.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITIES
Store in a dry, dark and well-ventilated storage area at room temperature. Keep container tightly closed when not in use or empty. Keep containers in vertical to avoid dispersions.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- EYE PROTECTION
Wear protective glasses (EN 166) during the execution of any industrial type of operations.
- HAND PROTECTION
Wear protective gloves (EN 374) for industrial type operations.
- SKIN PROTECTION
Choose the suitable protection considering the amount of hazardous substances on the workplace.
- RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
If necessary, wear mask with filter or respirator approved by regulation authorities.
ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE CONTROLS
Avoid dispersion in the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Stability studies show that the product is stable in recommended storage conditions.

Disposal considerations
Send to a disposal plant or to an incinerator; go to specialists of waste disposal.
Work in compliance with the national and local laws in force.
