Short-term toxicity to fish

In an acute toxicity to fish test (BASF SE, 932/c-02, 2003) the LC50 after 96 hours was about 100 mg/L. No mortality was observed in all test concentrations. One fish died in the control after 72 h of exposure. The study procedure was based on the OECD guideline 203.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

A 48-h static acute toxicity test (INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL ORGANIC CHEMISTRY, BRANCH PSZCZYNA,W/27/16, 2016) on neonates (< 24 h old) of Daphnia magna was performed under GLP conditions according to OECD 202 (2004). The EC50 value after 48 h of exposure is higher than 117 mg/L.

Toxicity to aquatic plants other than algae:

The growth of Lemna gibba exposed to the test item was investigated in a 7 day static test (BASF SE, W/26/16, 2016) according to OECD 221 (2006). The ErC10/7 d was determined to be higher than 117 mg/L and the NOEC/7 d was determined to be higher than or equal to 117 mg/L.

Toxicity to microorganisms

In a respiration inhibition test (BASF SE, 932/b-02, 2003) with activated sludge, there was an effect concentration of EC20 >2000 mg/L, EC50>2000 mg/L and EC80>2000 mg/L after 3 hours. The study is based on OECD guideline 209.
