Details on results:
RESULTS OF THE SHAKE FLASK METHOD
- pH of the samples varied in the range of 4.60 – 4.62.
- Considering that the large amount of the test material was dissolved in every case without insoluble residue and the test mixtures were homogeneous by visual assessment, the measured concentrations depend on the amount of added test material and can be handled individually. The RSD% of the amount of added test material was 1.1 %, the RSD% of the measured concentrations was 1.9 %.

Conclusions:
Under the conditions of this study the water solubility of the test material was determined to be ≥ 383 mg/mL at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C using the shake-flask method.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 105 and EU Method A.6., under GLP conditions.

The test material was dissolved in water at a temperature somewhat above the test temperature. When saturation was achieved the mixture was cooled and kept at the test temperature, as long as necessary to reach equilibrium. Subsequently, the mass concentration of the test material in the aqueous solution was determined by HPLC analysis. Before the HPLC analysis samples were diluted with acetonitrile – water 1:1 mixture.

Under the conditions of this study the water solubility of the test material was determined to be ≥ 383 mg/mL at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C using the shake-flask method.

Additional information

The water solubility of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 105 and EU Method A.6., under GLP conditions. The study was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

Under the conditions of this study the water solubility of the test material was determined to be ≥ 383 mg/mL at 20 ± 0.5 °C using the shake-flask method.
