Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to the REACH Regulation, Annex VIII, Column 2, the study does not need to be conducted if based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient). Acid Orange 067 is expected to have a low potential for absorption, on the basis of the partition coefficient (the log Pow was determined to be 1.03 at 20 °C).

The organic carbon-water, suspended matter-water and soil-water partition coefficients were in any case estimated, using EUSES v.2.1.2, for completeness sake.

Suspended matter-water partition coefficient: 1.28

Soil-water partition coefficient: 1.8
