Description of key information

The substance needs not to be classified for physico-chemical hazards.

Additional information

A full set of physico-chemical information is available with the essential parameters determined according to established testing guidelines. Classification issues are discussed in the relevant endpoint summaries.

According to (1), the phenomenon of self-heating applies only to solids. The surface of liquids is not large enough for reaction with air and the available test method is not applicable to liquids. Therefore liquids are not classified as self-heating.

Concluding, no classification requirements do exist with regard to physical hazards.
