First-aid measures

General information: Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves.
Inhalation: If breathing is difficult, remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. For breathing difficulties, oxygen may be necessary. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist.
Skin contact: Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes.
Eye contact: Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids.
Ingestion: Call a physician or poison control center immediately. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that stomach vomit doesn't enter the lungs.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water fog. Foam. Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed.
Advice for fire fighter: Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Avoid breathing mist or vapor. Evacuate people untrained and without the equipment that are not involved in resolving the situation.
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge waste into drains / surface waters / groundwater in.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Ensure adequate ventilation. Spilled liquid should be dammed and absorbed with inert absorbent material (non-flammable and non-combustible) as sand, earth, dolomite, clay ABSODAN, universal absorbent. Wash the infested area with plenty of free water to empty into drains or the environment.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Ensure good ventilation at work place by suction. Avoid breathing vapor or aerosol. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Close and open containers carefully and follow the rules of working with chemicals. Wash hands after handling the product. Do not eat, drink, or smoke in work area.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store in closed vessels in a dry, cool and well ventilated area. Protect from sunlight. The product will be stored in original packaging, tightly closed. Keep away from fire source.

Exposure controls / personal protection

General information: Use personal protective equipment as required. Personal protection equipment should be chosen according to the standards and in discussion with the supplier of the personal protective equipment. Always observe good personal hygiene measures, such as washing after handling the material and before eating, drinking, and/or smoking. Routinely wash work clothing and protective equipment to remove contaminants.
Eye and face protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin protection: Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Respiratory protection: Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face respirator with multi-purpose combination (US) or type ABEK (EN 14387) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole means of protection, use a full-face supplied air respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to avoid: Keep away from heat sources, open flame or spark.
Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.

Disposal considerations

Eliminating waste of product: in authorized collection points and / or burned in incinerators permitted under current legislation.
Contaminated packaging waste: storage will not be reused for other products.
