Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

Notes to physician Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media

Suitable Extinguishing Media
Dry chemical, CO 2, water spray or alcohol-resistant foam.

Unsuitable Extinguishing Media
Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapours

Advice for firefighters

Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit. Use personal protective equipment.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

Use personal protective equipment.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing
Evacuate personnel to safe areas
Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak

Environmental precautions

Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system
Prevent product from entering drains 6.3. Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.

Use personal protective equipment. Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Avoid dust formation. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly. After cleaning, flush away traces with water.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling

Advice on safe handling
Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapours/spray. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

General Hygiene Considerations
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities

Technical measures and storage conditions
