First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Symptomatic treatment. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Gently rinse the affected eyes, including the area under the
eyelids, with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Arrange
for transport to the nearest medical facility for
examination and treatment by a physician as soon as possible

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash the affected area under running water using a mild
soap. If irritation persists, arrange for transport to the
nearest medical facility for examination and treatment by a
physician as soon as possible.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry chemical powder, foam, dry sand or carbon dioxide

Protective equipment: Personal protective equipment and self containing breathing
apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear proper protective equipment, eliminate all sources of
ignition and ventilate the area. Absorb spill with inert
material (e.g. dry sand, sawdust or dustcloth), then flush
residual spill area with copious amounts of water. For large
spills, dike for later disposal.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use in well ventilated areas. Shut off all gas and
electrical (spark or hotwire) igniters and other sources of
ignition until odors are gone. Protect against physical
damage, do not drop onto or slide across sharp object and
avoid rough handling or dropping.

Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated location. Keep away from high
temperature and sunlight, store in a closed container.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is supplied in 16 kg tin cans.
