First-aid measures

General advice: Avoid formation of aerosol
Eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
Skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes.
Ingestion: If swallowed, and the victim is conscious and alert, induce vomiting immediately, as directed by medical personnel.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air.
Notes to physician: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide (CO2). Foam. Dry powder. Water spray.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical: Keep product and empty container away from heat and sources of ignition.
Protective equipment and precautions firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
Environmental precautions: Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.
Methods for cleaning up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Shovel or sweep up. Prevent product from entering drains. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapours or spray mist. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
