Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Rest, fresh air.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash affected eyes under running water for 15 minutes with
eyelids held open.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected skin with soap and water, remove contaminated
clothing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and give affected person plenty of water to
drink.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water, foam, CO2, powder
Product arising from burning: H2O, CO2, CO, N2, NOx, HCN
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Protective suit of fire-resistant material, independent
breathing equipment.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: In the case of accidental spillage the product should be
swept off or sucked up by mechanical means. At this
protective glasses and tight fitting rubber gloves should be
used. The contaminated product has to be collected in
correctly labelled containers and afterwards disposed of
properly.
Moisten substance before collecting or cover it with
moistened adsorbend.
Handling and storage
Handling: For personal safety measures against contact protective
glasses and tight fitting rubber gloves are recommended.
If possible, use closed filling/refilling systems as well as
local exhaust systems.
Storage: For storage closed and stable containers, i.e. steel or
plastic drums should be used. Containers should be
safeguarded by appropriate measures from falling off. Aviod
spilt product on the containers.
Label containers accordingly.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: If the substance is contaminated no rational recycling is
possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Possibilities for neutralization do not exist.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Discharge in a landfill is not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: As on incineration air pollutants may be formed a suitable
plant with flue gas purification should be used for
incineration.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The notified substance can if necessary be eliminated from
waste water by using suitable absorption agents.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: If the substance is contaminated no rational recycling is
possible.
