Reference
Endpoint:
relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
16 Oct - 25 Oct 2017
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.16 (Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids)
GLP compliance:
yes
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions

Results
No self-ignition was observed in the relative self-ignition temperature.
The sample entered a small endothermic event at ca. 24.30 °C. The sample did not reach 400 °C by self-heating. Therefore the sample is not self-igniting.

Description of key information

No self-ignition up to 400 °C (EU Mehtod A.16)

Key value for chemical safety assessment
