Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures
- Effective exhaust ventilation system
Respiratory protection
- Use a respirator with an approved filter if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary.
- In the event of insufficient ventilation:
- Combined respiratory protective device, for filtering gas and particles, with an ABEK canister.
Hand protection
- PVC gloves
Eye protection
- Safety glasses with side-shields
Skin and body protection
- Full protective suit
Hygiene measures
- Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Protective measures
- The protective equipment must be selected in accordance with current CEN standards and in cooperation with the
supplier of the protective equipment.
- Selection of appropriate personal protective equipment should be based on an evaluation of the performance
characteristics of the protective equipment relative to the task(s) to be performed, conditions present, duration of
use, and the potential hazards and/or risks that may occur during use.
- Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Environmental exposure controls
- Dam up.
- Should not be released into the environmen
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions.
Incompatible materials
- Reacts with the following substances:
- Strong reducing agents.
- Strong oxidizing agents
- Acid chlorides
- Alkalis and caustic products.
Hazardous decomposition products
- On combustion forms:
- Toxic Gas
- Carbon oxides
Disposal considerations
Product Disposal
- Should not be released into the environment.
- Must be incinerated in a suitable incineration plant holding a permit delivered by the competent authorities.
Advice on cleaning and disposal of packaging
- Clean using hot water and a deodorizing agent.
- Following decontamination, re-use or recycle metal packaging.
- Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Measure for waste avoidance or recovery
- Do not dispose of with domestic refuse.
- Land-fill is forbidden.
